Up and running

Steven and I are off to the ancient ruins today....look for a better blog detailing the events of yesterday and today a little later. It is 0630 here and we had a great nights rest. Italy knew exactly how to greet me......our driver from the airport played Michael Jackson music when he picked us up, but......there's a story there.

One quick note....Steven gets up this morning and we have our first major issue, according to him at least. The hotel has NOT provided an iron. He has torn the room apart looking for an iron. YES let it be known that Steven will be going to see the Roman sites today without his shirt and shorts being ironed. For all of you that know Steven, you realize he never leaves the house without ironing. No worries, he has made prompt provisions for an iron to be in our room upon our return.
